Portable sign for Tradeport
megapark sign 1

The Liberty County Development Authority has employed consultants, scrutinized numerous drawings and gone to considerable trouble to design an attractive entrance for its Tradeport East Business Center. What you see here is not on any of those drawings.

The portable arrow sign with the flashing lights is a temporary measure to direct heavy truck traffic to turn at the Tradeport entrance a half mile from I-95 and not go wandering all over East Liberty, sometimes as far as Yellow Bluff.

Target is the Target distribution center, a 1.5 million sq. ft. building on top of the historic Old Sunbury Road. IDI is Industrial Developments International, a real estate development firm which is doing major warehouse construction at the park. The word “Rack” on the sign is an apparent reference to the Tire Rack, a warehouse and distribution center where retail customers can also pick up tires
