WALTHOURVILLE — Dryden Enterprises cut a ribbon Tuesday to celebrate the construction on Hampton Ridge subdivision.
The ceremony was held at the Hampton Ridge construction site in Walthourville.
Owner and developer Claude Dryden and Walthourville Mayor Daisy S. Pray welcomed staff, friends, family, Liberty County Chamber of Commerce staff and members to the event.
Dryden plans to construct 85 homes in the neighborhood and believes that due to the collaboration with the city of Walthourville, they are able to offer customers something they will like.
Dryden Enterprises has been serving Liberty County for 30 years, with a focus on building quality homes and personal attention to their customers.
“I’m ecstatic about Hampton Ridge and grateful Mr. Dryden chose the City of Walthourville for this elaborate subdivision,” Pray said. “Mr. Dryden and the city of Walthourville have an everlasting and positive relationship, with him being a former resident of the city of Walthourville, he shares a unique and strong bond for the city which is improvement and progression and his passion is symbolic of the city’s motto — always moving while improving.”
Chamber board member Karen Bell congratulated Dryden Enterprises and the city of Walthourville on behalf of the chamber.
“We’re excited about this neighborhood,” Dryden said. “It will have all the benefits of the city with accessibility to city facilitated water, sewer and garbage but the homes sit on half acre lots, making it feel more like the country.”
