The Mosquito Authority conducted a ribbon cutting May 1 in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce at the chamber’s office.

Owner Justin Watson welcomed family and friends and chamber staff, ambassadors and members.

“We are excited to become a part of the community here in Liberty County,” Watson said.  

The Mosquito Authority provides clients with mosquito control. Residential and commercial services offered include barrier sprays and misting-system installations.

The company also offers spraying for special events.    

The company’s mosquito control barrier-spray program uses an EPA-registered solution that is applied to trees, shrubs and foliage surrounding outdoor living areas.

Its misting system is installed on a property and sprays a fine mist of insecticide.

“We welcome you to the chamber. Please know that we are here for you and support your growing business,” chamber board member Felecia Boatwright said.
