Mary Kay independent sales director Debbie Willoughby of Midway this month, earned the use of a new Chevy Malibu thanks to her achievements in operating her Mary Kay business.
The Chevy is one of the newest additions to the Mary Kay career car program. The program also includes the Chevy Equinox, the Toyota Camry and the infamous pink Cadillac.
Mary Kay career qualifiers also may choose cash compensation in lieu of the car.
Since the program’s inception in 1969, more than 120,000 Mary Kay sellers have qualified one or more times for a Mary Kay car. Currently, more than 5,600 Mary Kay cars are on the road nationwide.
“The Career car program provides the independent sales force the opportunity to earn the use of a visible symbol of their success,” said Gary Jinks, Mary Kay senior vice president of sales. “Each car obtained through this exciting program reflects the hard work, determintation and professionalism of the independent sales force.”
Willoughby’s new Malibu, her third Mary Kay career car, will come from NeSmith Chevrolet in Hinesville.
