The University of Georgia will host a “Starting a Business” workshop from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Small Business Resource Center, 111 E. Liberty St., Savannah.
The workshop will cover the basics of what to know and do before starting a business. The session also covers the traits of successful entrepreneurs, market research, legal structures for business, estimating start-up costs and cash flow projections, financing alternatives, failure factors and business planning.
The cost is $69 per person, which includes the cost of class materials, and special pricing is available for groups of two or more.
