The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center will have a workshop, “Starting a Business,” at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 15.
The class, which is three hours long, is at the Small Business Resource Center, 111 E. Liberty St. in Savannah.
The workshop will help potential business owners understand what they need to do to get started. Organizers also talk about traits of successful entrepreneurs, market research, legal structures for business, estimating start-up costs and cash-flow projections, financing alternatives, failure factors and business planning.
