The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce (LCCOC) is proud to announce the launch of its President’s Council, a new leadership initiative designed to strengthen strategic collaboration and provide advisory support to the Chamber’s leadership.
The President’s Council will bring together respected business and community leaders who will offer insight, perspective, and guidance on issues affecting the local business climate and economic development. Members will serve as ambassadors for the Chamber while helping to identify opportunities that support business growth and community prosperity.
“The President’s Council represents an important step in strengthening our Chamber’s ability to lead and serve the business community,” said Leah Poole, president/CEO of LCCOC. “By bringing together experienced leaders from across our region, we are creating a space for meaningful dialogue, strategic thinking, and collaboration that will help guide our work and support the continued growth of our community.”
The Chamber is honored to introduce the inaugural members of the President’s Council: Jimmy Shanken, Kathy Villafane, Ursula Melendez, Susan Ammons, and Barbara Martin. These individuals were selected for their leadership, community involvement, and commitment to supporting a strong and thriving business environment.
The President’s Council will meet periodically to discuss emerging economic trends, business challenges, and opportunities for collaboration that will help shape the Chamber’s strategic priorities.
