Chamber helps Coastal Drug Company cut the ribbon

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Coastal Drug Company on Friday, May 16 at its new location, 204 Butler Avenue in Midway.

Liberty County Commissioner Timothy Blount welcomed those in attendance and congratulated Coastal Drug Company on their new location in Midway on behalf of the commissioners.

State Rep. Al Williams also gave congratulatory remarks and shared encouraging words to the business owners. He also shared insight on the state's recent expansion of pharmacy laws, making it more affordable for small business pharmacies and patients alike to purchase medications.

Pete Nagle and Harnish Patel both welcomed those in attendance and gave a brief history on the business.

“We just really want to thank the community for their continued support over the years and now as we continue to grow and expand,” Nagle said.
