The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Uplift Women’s Health Club on Tuesday, January 16 at its location, 740 E General Stewart Way, Suite 212, downtown Hinesville.

Jimmy Shanken, Liberty County Chamber of Commerce board member, welcomed those in attendance and congratulated Uplift Women’s Health Club on its new business in downtown Hinesville.

“Small business is the heartbeat of America and we’re excited anytime a small business comes to Liberty County,” he said.

Hinesville Mayor Karl Riles welcomed those in attendance and congratulated Uplift Women’s Health Club on their new business in downtown Hinesville.

“This is what we want to cultivate in Liberty County,” Mayor Riles said. “We want to support and encourage people who have dreams of making a difference in our community. You can’t plant trees; you have to plant acorns. It’s our job to make sure the soil is fertile and make sure that we keep those seeds watered.”

Hollie Ballance, the owner of Uplift Women’s Health Club, thanked those in attendance and gave a brief history of her business. Ballance also thanked her friends, family and the community for their support.
