A fire in a Fort Stewart housing area Christmas Day has left one family displaced. No injuries were sustained from the fire.

Fort Stewart Fire Emergency Services responded to a duplex on Rogers Circle in the South Bryan Village housing area at approximately 1 p.m. The fire was confined to a single structure and only one of the homes was occupied at the time. Mutual aid assistance was provided by the Hinesville Fire Department.

Temporary accommodations for the affected family are being arranged.
