City toy drive coming up
Web Exclusive Story
Christmas toy

The Hinesville Toy Drive is back for another year serving families in the City of Hinesville this holiday season. Hosted by District 3 and sponsored by City of Hinesville Councilwoman of District 3 Vicky Nelson, the Hinesville Toy Drive will be on Saturday, December 12 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Irene B. Thomas Park. Attendees are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy for a child between the ages of 6 months – 17 years.

With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the toy drive will be moving to a drive-thru format this year. Attendees will enter the park via the Sharon Street entrance, circle around the drive to drop off their toys and receive sweet treats from toy drive workers and then exit the park via Elaine Street.

Those who would like to donate toys but are unable to attend the one-day drop off may call Hinesville City Hall at 912.876.3564 and leave a message for Councilwoman Vicky Nelson to make arrangements for donations.

For more information, please call Councilwoman Nelson at 912.271.9814 or contact the Hinesville Public Relations Office 912.408.3569.
