Here is the noon report from the Coastal Health District:

As of noon today there are 310 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in residents of the Coastal Health District and eight deaths.

Cases by county:

  • Bryan: 30 cases, 2 deaths
  • Camden: 23 cases
  • Chatham: 160 cases, 5 deaths
  • Effingham: 25 cases, 1 death
  • Glynn: 41 cases
  • Liberty: 26 cases
  • Long: 2 cases
  • McIntosh: 3 cases

The Coastal Health District said the reductions or changes in numbers reported were due to corrections of previous errors in the database. The state office of epidemiology is reviewing the database and using geo-location to match addresses to counties.

Some entries that had been manually entered into the wrong county are shifting to the correct county of residence.
