Georgia Tech

ATLANTA - Emma Beasley of Midway earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Spring 2024 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Jordan Pieratti of Hinesville has earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Pieratti was among more than 5,700 undergraduate and graduate students to be presented Georgia Tech degrees during the Institute’s 266th Commencement exercises May 2 - 4, 2024, at Mc-Camish Pavilion.

The following students have earned the distinction of Dean’s List at the Georgia Institute of Technology for Spring 2024. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

Valdosta State University

VALDOSTA - More than 1,600 distinguished and accomplished students were named to Valdosta State University’s Spring 2024 Dean’s List.

Dean’s List honors are reserved for the highest achieving students at VSU.

To qualify for Dean’s List at VSU, students must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Please note that developmental studies, transient, and graduate students are not eligible for Dean’s List status.

TOPEKA, KS - Washburn University announces the students in its spring 2024 graduating class. These students completed their courses for certificates, associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees - more than 1,200 from Washburn University, Washburn University School of Law and Washburn Institute of Technology.

Upper Iowa University

FAYETTE, IA - Quintavious Stepney, a Health Services Admin major from Hinesville, was named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2024 semester. To be honored, the undergraduate must have earned a minimum 3.50 GPA and be enrolled as a fulltime student.

Kennesaw State University

KENNESAW — Kennesaw State University has named students earning President’s List recognition of their academic excellence for the Spring 2024 semester.

To achieve this honor, each undergraduate student must have completed at least nine credit hours with a term grade point average of 4.0.

Local students earning President’s List honors are: Keyasia Hairston of Hinesville, majoring in Elementary Education Patrick Underwood of Allenhurst, majoring in Accounting Janell Brown of Midway, majoring in Nursing.

Lee University

CLEVELAND, TN - Lee University congratulates Sydney Cowart of Ludowici on earning Dean’s List honors during the Spring 2024 semester.

Dean’s List recognition is earned by full-time, undergraduate students with a semester grade point average between 3.7 and 4.0.

Middle Tennessee State University

MURFREESBORO, TN Nadia Jones of Ludowici, majoring in Video and Film Production, earned dean’s list honors at Middle Tennessee State University for the spring 2024 semester.

To qualify for this distinction, an undergraduate student must maintain a current semester gradepoint average of 3.5 or above and earn at least 12 semester hours.

Mercer University

MACON/ATLANTA - Mercer University conferred bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees to more than 2,200 students at five commencements held in May in Macon and Atlanta.
