First Hike Day Fort Morris State Historic Site, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

Admission: adults (18–61), $4.50; seniors (62+), $4; youth (6–17), $3; children (under 6), free. All rates are plus tax. Group rates available with advance notice. All across the country, park rangers are inviting Americans to start the New Year with an energizing First Day Hike. Join us at Fort Morris for a ranger-led (dressed in period clothing) hike at 10 a.m. and then again at 2 p.m. on New Year’s Day. Hikes will last 30 minutes to an hour. Feel free to wander on your own afterwards! Regular admission applies.
