Walthourville’s Public Safety Hosts Future Leaders Return to School
Walthourville’s Public Safety will host the city’s future leaders return to school at Johnnie Frasier Park on July 17, 2021, from 11am to 4pm. There will be food, fun and games, entertainment for the whole family. We will be giving away backpacks filled with school supplies.
Family and Community coming together for a day of fun, games and laughter with the New Chief of Police Al Hagan and long serving Fire Chief Anthony Burns.
Admission is free for all. Bring the entire family. Follow the event details on Walthourville Police and Walthourville Fire department Facebook. All games will be free. There will be raffles and prizes throughout the day. Spending the day outdoors with family and friends, meeting new people and seeing old friends is priceless. Come and support local businesses. It will be a day filled with laughter and joy.

The quarterly meeting of the Live Oak Public Libraries Liberty County Library Board of Trustees will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 19, 2021. The meeting will take place in person at Hinesville Library 236 West Memorial Drive, Hinesville, Georgia 31313.

LCSS Open House
The Liberty County School System will host open house from 9 a.m. until noon at the Middle and High Schools, from 3-6 p.m. at the Elementary schools. Open house visits to the Pre-K are by appointment only.

Seven Ministries of Liberty County, Inc. will host it’s Annual Back to School Rally on July 31, 2021 at Rebecca’s Place (across from First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church) from 10-11 a.m. The event is sponsored by ESG-Operations. Seven Ministries is a 501c3 non-profit organization incorporated in 2012. Due to the pandemic, this year’s event will be drive thru and we’re asking cars with children to line up at Hineshaw Elementary School on Shipman Avenue, and head south onto Rebecca Street where supplies will be distributed. Children not in cars are welcome to walk up and participate.
