The Friends of Shellman Bluff are hosting their 21st St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Fun at the Park on March 25-26, 2022, in Shellman Bluff, McIntosh County. The Park will be open Friday (3-10) and Saturday (10-10) featuring food, arts and crafts, music and carnival rides for the kids. The parade is on Saturday March 26 featuring floats, bands, carts and the Shriners.

The 44th annual Dogwood Festival will be held Saturday, March 26th from 10-5. If you would like to have a booth of art/crafts or food vendors you can get the vendor application on our website www.wcacartists.org. Click on events, then Dogwood Festival and click vendor application button. If you would like to perform at the event contact Billy Keller at 912-402-9889 to get on the schedule. The festival will be held at the Fairgrounds across from Rayonier in Jesup, GA. We are expecting large crowds and lots of vendors. For more information contact us at wcacartists@gmail.com.

The Liberty County Board of Elections will hold its monthly board meeting on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 4:00 pm at 100 Main Street, Hinesville, GA in the Multipurpose Room.

Liberty County VVA Chapter 789 is Hosting a Vietnam Veterans Day of Remembrance on Tuesday, Mar 29th, 2022 at 6 p.m. There will be a Memorial Service at the Veterans Walk in Bryan Commons followed by a Vietnam Veterans Get together under the Stars. Miss Midway Pageant Contestants Needed The City of Midway is seeking contestants for the Miss Midway Pageant.
The pageant is opened to girls in grades 6 through 11. Applications are located on the Midway website at historicmidway. com or at City Hall which is located at 41 Charlie Butler Road. Bethel AME Church Citizens Relying on Spiritual Servants (CROSS) C.R.O.S.S. in conjunction with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Savannah are open to those in need on the 4th Saturday of every month. Food Bags will be given out from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
C.R.O.S.S. has a clothing ministry giveaway on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. The ministry is open from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.
