Nov. 13

Historic downtown walking tour The HDDA will host a walking tour of the historic locations in downtown Hinesville. The tour begins at the courthouse 100 South Main Street and starts at 11 a.m. For more information call 912-877-4332. There is a tremendous amount of fascinating history in Liberty County -- more than a dozen historic markers in downtown Hinesville. Maps, docents, history, architecture, and refreshments will make learning easy.

Nov. 13

The Harlem Legends vs. Liberty County All Stars Celebrity Basketball Show is scheduled for Nov. 13, 2021, at the Bradwell Institute Gym. Admission is limited, tickets should be purchased early. Admission is $15 or $25 for VIP. A basketball clinic will be held at 1pm and will cost $25. Nov. 17

The two GIS offices and the Liberty County Assessor’s Office will co-host a one-day virtual event on Wednesday, Nov. 17 from 9a.m. to 4 p.m. This virtual event will provide an opportunity for everyone to learn and explore the benefits of GIS and will include story maps and map galleries showcasing work from the 3 offices. Event attendees will be able to enjoy presentations and live chat with GIS staff to discuss current and potential uses of GIS technologies throughout the day. The event is FREE to everyone. Probe College Fair at 11 a.m. at Liberty County High School, 3216 E. Oglethorpe Hwy, Hinesville. The Probe College Fair Tour, hosts FREE events for Georgia high students. For many, Probe is their first and best way to get information about prospective colleges. The annual series of events also gives universities the chance to recruit new students.
