The weekly Farmers’ Market at Bradwell Park also had another celebration on June 13 as the community helped the U.S. Army mark its 249th birthday, complete with a red, white and blue birthday cake and a visit from Rocky he Bulldog, the mascot of the 3rd Infantry Division.

Hinesville City Council member Dexter Newby and Mayor Karl Riles helped the Army celebrate its birthday and community members left well wishes and birthday greetings for the Army. The crowd also lined up for a piece of birthday cake.
