The Long County Fire Department says a shipment of meal kits and water will be available today at 12 noon and there will be a limited supply of ice. A cooling station is now open at Long County Middle School and cold water is available for anyone in need. 

Georgia Power reports fewer than 700 of its customers in Liberty County are without power. There are nearly 17,900 Georgia Power customers in Liberty.

Coastal EMC reports 55 of its 6,975 customers in Liberty County remain without power, and two of its 604 Long County customers are without power. Nearly 789 of Georgia Power’s almost 2,570 Long County customers are without power.
