Clenton Wells has been named the new head of public works for Liberty County, taking over for former Solid Waste Director Dave Sapp, who recently retired. Wells has headed up the road department in recent years. Sapp was director of the solid waste department under public works and his job will be divided among Wells, Jason Jones as finance manager and Johnny Schaadt as operations manager.
