The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for The Cozy Bean Neighborhood Coffee House on Wednesday, November 17, to celebrate their opening.

The event was held at their location, 248 Butler Avenue in Midway. Owner Emily Green, Mayor ProTem Dr. Clemontine Washington, Board Chair Jimmy Shanken, and Councilman Malcom Williams welcomed those in attendance, offered brief remarks and thanked everyone for coming out.

The Cozy Bean is Midway’s first coffee house. They have transformed the old Heritage Bank into a unique space where they serve delicious coffee and treats. They plan to expand more in the future with a larger menu, a drive-thru and online ordering.
