The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for World of Beer on Tuesday, October 29 at its location, 1434 E. Oglethorpe Highway in Flemington.

Flemington Mayor Paul Hawkins greeted those in attendance.

“On behalf of the city of Flemington and our city council, I would like to welcome Jay Patel, the owner, and his staff to Flemington and hope you will have a prosperous future here,” he said.

Donald Lovette, chairman of the Liberty County Board of Commissioners, also gave greetings and remarks. “Well, we are proud of this establishment, the team, and the jobs it brings here to Liberty County. We thank you for investing in our community and pray that it’s very profitable and that we all, (the community) come and support,” he said.

Hinesville Mayor Karl Riles also greeted those in attendance.

“We are excited to have you join our community and look forward to your success here in Liberty County,” he said.

Jay Patel, owner of World of Beer in Flemington, thanked those in attendance and gave a brief history of the business.

“It has been about three years since we started this project, and we were finally able to get it done and I appreciate everybody for coming out and celebrat-Photo ing with us today,” he said.
