The Liberty County Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCCVB) is celebrating the success of its recent Taste & Travel Week campaign, which highlighted local restaurants, encouraged community engagement, and promoted Liberty County as a destination for dining, travel, and local experiences.
Throughout the weeklong campaign, residents and visitors were encouraged to support participating restaurants while engaging with social media content showcasing local dining establishments. The campaign generated community interaction online and helped shine a spotlight on Liberty County’s diverse restaurant scene.
As part of the campaign’s conclusion, awards were presented to two participating restaurants whose featured photos received the highest levels of engagement on social media. Zum Rosenhof received the award for the most Instagram reactions, with 237 reactions on its featured photo. Baldinos earned the award for the most Facebook reactions, receiving 160 reactions on its featured photo. Both photos were taken by Joanna Ng Photography.
In addition to engagement across social platforms, the campaign achieved impressive overall marketing reach and visibility. A featured T-shirt giveaway campaign generated a reach of 112,615, helping extend awareness of Liberty County’s restaurants and tourism offerings to a broad audience.
“Taste & Travel Week was an exciting opportunity to celebrate our local restaurants while also promoting Liberty County as a destination for food, travel, and community experiences,” said Leah Poole, LCCVB president and CEO. “The level of engagement we saw online demonstrates how strongly the community supports our local businesses.”
The campaign successfully combined tourism promotion with community participation, encouraging residents and visitors alike to explore local restaurants while supporting small businesses. The LCCVB looks forward to continuing initiatives that showcase the people, places, and experiences that make Liberty County a welcoming destination.
