The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter #46 and their ladies’ auxiliary chapter spread holiday cheer taking on a project to collect and donate children’s toys in Liberty County. The local chapter was able to help local families and four great community projects like CASA, Tri-County Protective Agency, the Rotary Brown-Dodd Children’s Christmas Party, and provide gifts for any and every child who may have to spend the week of Christmas in Liberty Regional Medical Center.
The DAV, DAVA volunteers started their volunteer collection on Dec. 11, 2021 and their volunteers have said they are proud to continue serving their country and community.
