Parents, guardians and students enjoyed a sit-down, pancake breakfast served by the administration and various other staff members. Students and parents had an opportunity to browse and shop at the book fair.
Diana Anderson, media specialist, said, “this year’s event was the most successful ever.
During the week, the school served pancakes to more than 500 people.
“Pancakes with Parents” has quickly become Lyman Hall’s most successful parent involvement event.
Interim Superintendent Harley Grove and Deputy Superintendent Dr. Conley, along with various other central office personnel dropped in to support the event.
Principal Claire Blanchard said she was pleased with the turn out. “I love having the parents come in with their children and seeing them sit together as a family to eat breakfast. It was wonderful having so many dads join us this year.”
Peggy LeCounte, parent involvement coordinator described the event by saying, “Overwhelming participation and family togetherness.”
Lyman Hall’s next event, the Fall Festival is on Nov. 2. The community is invited.
