On Oct. 22, 10 Bradwell Institute graphic communication students attended the Heidelberg Print Media Academy in Kennesaw to participate in the first-ever “Fit to Print” event. Heidelberg’s North American office in Kennesaw is the largest demonstration and instructional facility in the United States and second world-wide only to Heidelberg, Germany.
Students from high schools and colleges throughout the Southeast attended, including representatives from Clemson University, Georgia Southern and Kennesaw State University. Altogether, 150 students attended and learned about the latest prepress, press and bindery equipment manufactured by Heidelberg. The students also were introduced to scholarship and other educational opportunities in print media.
