Liberty County will have a strong presence this weekend when the Georgia Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl takes over the University of Georgia campus.
Teams from Bradwell Institute and Lyman Hall Elementary School will vie in the top round after maintaining victories within the county, the Southern Region and the Division II competitions.
The teams staked their claim at state in the Division II competition, which was Feb. 23 at Southeast Bulloch High School.
Midway Middle School also participated.
