The Liberty County School System will offer a kindergarten transition camp this summer at each elementary school. All students who are registered for kindergarten for the next school year will have the opportunity to participate in the free program.
Each camp will be staffed by teachers and will focus on preparing students for kindergarten. They will eat breakfast and lunch at school, participate in recess and complete reading and math activities that focus on fundamental skills. Transportation and all meals will be provided free of charge for all students.
To obtain sign-up forms, see Melissa McCallar or Deloris Crawford at the Liberty County Pre-K Center. If you are not interested in the summer camp, please indicate this on the form and return it as well. All forms need to be returned by May 14. Children must be registered for kindergarten in the Liberty County School System to participate.

Camp dates are:
Tuesday-Friday, June 1-4
Monday-Thursday, June 7-10
Monday-Tuesday, June 14-15
Classes will be held daily from 8 a.m.-noon.
