The third annual Foreman/Russell Backpack Drive will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at A New Beginning Church, 2047 Highway 57 in Ludowici, just past Smiley Elementary School.
The drive is in memory of Hannah Foreman and Ta’Keith Russell, who lost their lives June 2, 2012.
About 800 backpacks will be given away at the event. Children must be present to receive a backpack. There also will be free food available.
