Each year, Button Gwinnett Elementary School fourth-grade teacher Rebecca Hager has her students participate in the state’s fire safety poster contest. This year, one of her students, Denise Zhu, won third place in the competition.   
Zhu has been invited to an awards luncheon Thursday in Atlanta at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot. She will receive a certificate and a prize for her work. Zhu’s poster will be displayed along with a ribbon.
