FPCA crowns queens at 3rd annual pageant

First Presbyterian Christian Academy held its third annual “Christmas in Candyland” Miss FPCA pageant Saturday at Dorchester Civic Center in Midway. 
There were four age groups for students to compete in: tiny miss for students in the pre-K program through first grade, little miss for students in second through fifth grades, junior miss for middle school students and miss for high school students.
Rebecca Sikes, a kindergarten student at FPCA, won the Tiny Miss FPCA title. Kiorra Johnson took home first runner-up, and Kayla Sanchez finished with the second runner-up title. 
Third-grade student Alli Hester won the Little Miss FPCA title, with Alexandra Vasilcoiu as the first runner-up and Parker Reed as the second runner-up.  
Loren Townsend, a seventh-grade student at FPCA, captured the Junior Miss FPCA title and also won the award for audience’s pick. The Junior Miss FPCA first runner-up was Shay Young, while the second runner-up was Auset Gibbs.
In the Miss FPCA category, 10th-grader Hannah Floyd took home the Miss FPCA title. Ninth-grader Abigail Jones took home the first runner-up title, and eleventh-grader Megan Gillon won the second runner-up award.
2010 Miss FPCA Maggie Dickens returned to crown the new queens.
