Several Liberty County High School Career and Technical Instruction students recently received certificates of achievement after completing a five-week job readiness training program to assist with their transition from high school to the workforce or college.
Donna Woodie, job readiness specialist/GDOL and instructor, said the curriculum consisted of sessions in career decisions/job search skills, the importance of appearance and attendance, employer expectations, completing job applications, interviewing skills and positive attitudes/workplace behaviors.
