Liberty County High School’s branch of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America recently conducted a Soles4Souls shoe drive in recognition of National FCCLA week and National Career, Technical and Agricultural Education Month.

Soles4Souls is a Nashville-based charity that collects shoes and distributes them to people in need throughout the world.

Throughout February and part of March, FCCLA collected shoes and monetary donations. In all, FCCLA collected 471 pairs of shoes and $500, which means an additional 500 pairs of shoes can be purchased by Soles4Souls.

LCHS junior Tory Lee donated the largest number of shoes, 83 pairs.
