From 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, the Liberty County High School National Honor Society and the Rotary InterAct Club will have their annual canned food drive for the Manna House in Hinesville. Members of NHS and InterAct will dress in costume and carpool to neighborhoods in the Hinesville and Liberty County areas and go door-to-door to collect canned food and non-perishables.
At each house, students will present letters written on school stationery to explain the service project and provide residents with information about the canned food drive.
To donate food or schedule a specific pick-up time, call Dawn Rowe at Liberty County High School at 368-6966.
