A Liberty County school bus and a cyclist collided Thursday morning around 7:50 a.m., officials reported.
The accident was at Highway 196 and Pineland Ave., and Hinesville Police Department was still in the process of determining which party was at fault, LCSS transportation director Tony Norce said.
Norce said the cyclist did not appear to be injured but sought medical treatment on advisement of EMS.
Students were aboard the bus, which was bound for Snelson-Golden Middle and Bradwell Institute, but were unharmed. The bus did not sustain any damage, Norce said.
The incident delayed the students about 30 minutes.
