Liberty Elementary School’s gifted class teacher, Lela Dickens, was recognized as a WTOC top teacher in September. Dickens said she always tries to go above and beyond to ensure her students are learning at high levels. She gives personal attention to each student and makes certain her teaching style fits the needs of each pupil.
