Liberty County natives earn bachelor's degrees

HONOLULU — Erica Danielle Williams of Hinesville was among more than 950 students who received associate, baccalaureate or master degrees at Hawai‘i Pacific University’s 78th commencement ceremony May 17 at the Neal Blaisdell Center.

Williams received a Master of Arts in communication.

Hawai‘i Pacific University is the state’s largest private university with more than 8,000 students from all 50 states and more than 100 countries.

Ploy gets bachelor’s degree from Columbia College

Lin Ploy of Liberty County has earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in communication studies from Columbia College, according to a news release from the women’s college in Columbia, S.C.
