Tree Tots Storytime
Tuesdays, July 3-24 at 10:30 a.m.

Join the library staff and local youngsters each Tuesday for stories, songs and more.  For ages 1 to 4.

Tie-Dye T-Shirt Craft
Thursday, July 5 at 2 p.m.

Bring a cotton T-Shirt to this event where you can create art you can wear. Space is limited and registration is required. For ages 5 and up.

Music Makers
Thursday, July 12 at 10:30 a.m.

Join the library staff and local youngsters  for some musical fun: featuring musical instruments, songs, stories, and audience participation. For ages 5 and up.

Dance Dance Revolution
with Alissa Boyd
Wednesday, July 18 at 3 p.m.

Participants will take part in a dance tournament involving the widely popular game, “Dance Dance Revolution.” Prizes will be awarded to the winner of each of the three difficulty levels. Space is limited to 30 participants. Registration required. For ages 12 to 18.

Harry Potter Jeopardy

Saturday, July 21 at 3 p.m.

Compete for prizes by answering questions about Harry Potter. For ages 10 and up.

Worm Squirm with Sha Dishong
Monday, July 23 at 2 p.m.

A storytime to make you squirm! Worm stories, facts, riddles and songs. Then, ta-da! See what happens when a little worm goo meets some worm activator. For ages 5 and up.

It’s a Mystery!  with Linda Bridges
Wednesday, July 25 at 2 p.m.

Collect evidence and follow the clues to solve a crime. For grades 3 to 8.

Summer Poetry Writing Workshop

Saturday, July 28 from 2-4 p.m.

Learn how to create ideas for topics and write poems. Everyone will take part in some fun activities and writing exercises, write their own poems, and get information and ideas for writing more poetry or songs at home. For ages 10 to 19.

‘World Tour of Tales’
Tuesday, July 31 at 3 p.m.

Driscoll weaves a tapestry of stories, magic and music together in a fun filled tour around the world. Visit and listen to selections from Spain, Ireland, Africa, France, Japan, Jamaica, Mexico and a host of other exotic destinations. For ages 3 and up.

Computer Classes
Introduction to Windows (Liberty)

A Beginners course on how to use the library’s computers. This course will cover using a mouse, manipulating the windows and printing. To register, call the library at 368-4003.

Introduction to the Internet (Liberty):
Thursday, July 26 at 10 a.m.

A beginner’s course on using the Internet. The class will cover using the Internet Explorer browser to navigate through the Internet and print web pages. Prerequisite:  Introduction to Windows or equivalent knowledge. To register or for more information, call 368-4003.
