The new Long County Middle School had its first homecoming celebration Sept. 27 at Veterans Field. This year’s homecoming queen was eighth-grader Brianna Lord. Her court included sixth-grade princess Chante’ Thomas, the seventh-grade princess Sophie Cooper and eighth-grade runner-up princess Julia Scheck.
