Lyman Hall teacher wins funds for makeover

Interstate Credit Union recently announced that Lyman Hall Elementary teacher Denise Blackmon had won its annual Extreme Classroom Makeover Contest.
Stacie Branch, Interstate Credit Union president/CEO, presented Blackmon with a check for $500 “to create a new and inviting classroom for her students.”
Teachers from Liberty, Long, Wayne, Appling, Jeff Davis and Bacon counties are invited to participate in the contest, Branch said.
Interstate Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative and provides free and low-cost financial products and services, according to a news release.
