SAVANNAH — Armstrong State University will host a one-day registration for new students to apply, be admitted and sign up for classes Friday.

Aimed at careers in growing fields such as information technology, business and health, this event is for working professionals, though traditional students are welcome. Application fees will be waived. Preregistration is encouraged.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Student Union, 11935 Abercorn St., Savannah.
