Rotary names speech contest winners

At the Hinesville Rotary Club's meeting on Feb. 12, six Interact Club students from Liberty County High School, Bradwell Institute, and First Presbyterian Christian Academy participated in Rotary's high school speech contest. Stephanie Castillo (center) from BI placed first, Brandon Stafford (left) from FPCA placed second and Rebecca Woods from LCHS placed third. Castillo and Stafford will participate at a competition in Douglas on March 29. Winners of that competition will compete at Rotary's District Conference in Macon on April 19. Darius Booker from BI, Wesley Herr from LCHS, and Timothy Ashmen from FPCA also participated in Tuesday's speech contest.
