As a way to offer support for families affected by the deployment, the Liberty County Pre-K has organized a Deployment Support Group. Pre-K parents meet informally to offer each other support and friendship during the deployment. As a special treat for group participants this month, Santa Claus visited with the children of deployed soldiers and posed for individual photographs. The group plans to meet at least once a month for the remainder of the school year.
