Liberty County High School juniors got a treat March 14 when motivational speaker Keith L. Brown spoke to their class, along with faculty and staff.
Brown bills himself as "one of the most sought after speakers on the planet. This Renaissance man also serves as a legislative liaison, professional speechwriter, consultant, philanthropist, and energetic, enthusiastic professional emcee for a wide array of events."
He was invited here to motivate students to do their best on upcoming Georgia High School Graduation Tests.
Brown also entertained them with "Soulja Boy" and "Cupid Shuffle" and even had the teachers on stage dancing to the "YMCA."
His message was spiced with quotes, such as, "I love myself, I believe in myself, I'm proud of myself, I'm a genius" and "Every setback is a set up for a come back."
Brown also spoke to students at Lewis Frasier Middle and Midway Middle schools about the importance of staying in school, working with the school to be successful, doing well on the upcoming CRCT, and focusing on the task at hand.
