TAMPA, Fla. — Chardene LaQuét Williams of Hinesville graduated from the University of Tampa on May 9 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.

Williams is a 2011 graduate of Liberty County High School. She is the daughter of John and Aranita Williams.

The May commencement, which was held at the Amalie Arena, featured 1,435 degree candidates and bachelor’s and master’s degree candidates. Kay Isaacson-Leibowitz co-founder and co-chair of the World of Children Award and board member for GUESS? Inc., gave the address.
