Carley Brewer graduated May 10 from Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pa. The 2010 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School earned a Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and criminal justice.
She is the daughter of Robin Witherite of Milesburg, Pennsylvania, and Jimmy Brewer of Hinesville. Her grandparents are Jake and Sandy Corman of Milesburg and Pat and Edward Brewer of Hinesville.

Stirewalt earns bachelor’s
Billie Jean Stirewalt of Hinesville graduated magna cum laude May 18 with a bachelor’s degree in Russian and Eurasian studies with a specialization in political science from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts.
She is the daughter of Edith Mallard Stirewalt and granddaughter of the late Bill and Elizabeth Mallard.

Barber on dean’s list
TIFTON — Courtney L. Barber of Hinesville has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.  
Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs Niles Reddick said the students who qualified for the dean’s list attained a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 and carried at least 12 academic credit hours.
