The Valedictorians from Bradwell and Liberty traveled to the Georgia’s Governor’s Mansion for a day of honor.
Brittany Butler, Liberty County High School’s valedictorian, and Thomas Baker, Bradwell Institute’s valedictorian, traveled to Atlanta to visit the Governor’s Mansion.
Gov. Sonny and Mary Perdue received valedictorians from all over the state as a day of celebration. Butler and Baker were greeted by the mansion’s staff and volunteers. They toured the mansion and its grounds. Lunch was served.
The local youth got their photos taken with the governor and his wife. Family who accompanied the two valedictorians had their photo chances as well. After the photos, the governor gave a motivational speech to valedictorians, exhorting the graduates to continue their success in their future plans.
