A career fair was held at Waldo Pafford Elementary School on Jan. 22 to encourage students to think about their future.
Organized by the school counselor, Dr. Deloris Mitchell and her intern, Katie Lee, the fair was to provide students with an opportunity to learn about various careers and to give students a variety of options to consider.
There were 11 presenters including representatives from the Hinesville Police Department, the Hinesville Fire Department, Liberty Regional Medical Center, Winn Army Community Hospital, Georgia Forestry Commission, the Department of Natural Resources, The Heritage Bank, attorney Vincent Modugno, MACE Drug Task Force and Dr. William Wege’s dental office.
