Walker Middle School’s Future Business Leaders of America will host a “Guys and Dolls” formal Christmas ball from 5:30-8 p.m. Dec. 15 in the Long County lunchroom.

Girls in grades four through eight are invited to bring their dads, stepdads, uncles, grandfathers or other male role models for a night of dancing.

No school-age boys will be allowed at the formal. Girls who do not have father figures can share dads with friends or bring moms instead.

Girls are encouraged to wear nice dresses, and men are encouraged to wear nice pants and ties.

Refreshments will be served, and each couple will receive a keepsake photo.

Couples must buy tickets by Dec. 7. The cost is $20 per couple for tickets purchased by Nov. 30. Early-bird registrants will be entered into a drawing to win a free limo ride to the dance. After Nov. 30, tickets will be $25 per couple.
