Young Adult Leadership Liberty graduates

Members of the 2014 Young Adult Leadership Liberty class were recognized during a graduation banquet May 16 at the Liberty College and Career Academy. The LCCA culinary-arts students prepared and served dinner for 71 people in attendance. Liberty County Commission Chairman Donald Lovette delivered the key note address.  
Fifteen outstanding juniors and seniors from Liberty County’s high schools completed the nine-month leadership course, gaining knowledge about  city and county government, law enforcement, public education, the health-care delivery system, local industry and tourism. Students also participated in volunteer opportunities with Keep Liberty Beautiful and other organizations.

Young Adult Leadership Liberty (YALL) is sponsored by the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce. The goal of the program is to promote leadership skills in high school-aged youth from all three high schools in Liberty County.
